The resumption of 4G services in J&K has brought relief to the citizens there. To express their relief, netizens have used memes on social media. Many have also thanked Rihanna for making the government act.

It will also help people whose near ones are either employed or studying outside the state. It has been reported that video calls to near and dear ones topped the use of 4G on the first day.

One hopes that the government does not suspend the services once again at any time in the future citing security concerns. If disturbances happen, it will be better to enforce local suspension rather than cut off the entire state.
