Mulayam Singh Yadav, founder of Samajwadi Party and UP's tallest politician for decades, is no more. He passed away after a prolonged illness in a Gurugram hospital this morning. Besides being the chief minister of UP three times, Yadav was also Defence minister of India from 1996 to 1998. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath has announced cremation with full state honours and a three-day state mourning as a respect for the departed leader.
