Remember the fantasy song Qayda, Qayda by Rekha in the movie Khubsurat? Rekha had asked us to break free of set theories and hope that the moon came out of the earth and lay in a park. There were rivers of milk and its surface was composed of ice cream which we scooped and ate. Something like that happened in Switzerland. People are now talking about the chocolate 'snow' that fell in the Swiss town of Olten, located between Zurich and Basle.

Residents of the town were amazed and surprised when cars and roads were covered by brown dust which was later identified as cocoa powder. It so transpired that the ventilation system at the nearby Lindt factory had malfunctioned and the strong wind had made the cocoa dust escaping out of the ducts spread over a wide area in nearby towns and villages. The company said that the powder was completely safe and posed no danger wither to the residents or to the environment.

People in India are wondering whether instead of hailstorms, Gods will rain down pakodas or if the next cyclone will bring jalebis with it. People say that since these items are not made in factories but by unemployed youth (as advised by the Prime Minister) on the roads, ventilation malfunction will not happen. Hence, people say, intervention by divine forces will be needed if Indians want goodies to rain down.
