While political analysts are not sticking out their necks and commentators are divided over the possible outcome of the polls in West Bengal, at least one person is sure that Mamata Banerjee, or Didi, is going to return as chief minister for the third consecutive time.

Calling himself a singular bhakt (we are not sure if she will like it at all because the word bhakt has assumed derogatory connotations, as in Modi bhakts) of Didi, a humble tea seller Nakul Roy of Bhowanipore (Mamata Banerjee's former constituency, before she switched to Nandigram this year to challenge turncoat Suvendhu Adhikari in his home turf) has promised to serve free tea to one and all on the 8th of May, 2021 to celebrate Didi's victory.

Roy has put up huge hoardings (see the lead picture) in the vicinity of his tea stall to attract attention. It is not immediately known whether this is a marketing gimmick by him or an attempt to get into the good books of Didi or whether the TMC local leaders are behind it, but one thing is certain - Nakul Roy has more faith in Didi than all political pundits combined and he is not afraid to stick his neck out.
