People are talking about Akubathini Ram Nagesh, the 23-year-old techie from Sangareddy in Hyderabad who was arrested by Mumbai police for threatening to rape Virat Kohli's 9-month-old daughter on Twitter after Kohli came out in support of Mohammed Shami who was being trolled for under-performing in the match with Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.

People say that they wonder how educated persons like Nagesh could be so perverted as to threaten a 9-month-old with rape. They say that it would be interesting to have a psycho-analysis done on Nagesh to find out what goes on in his mind other than coding.

People say that it is primarily mental illness that makes people behave in the manner Nagesh did. They say that instead of lauding Kohli for belatedly coming out in support of Shami as he was being trolled by faceless abusers, how educated youngsters like him can do such a vile thing.

They also say that the brazenness with which Nagesh tweeted the threat (he used the main account, @criccrazygirl from which usually tweets) proves that despite being technically proficient (which means he was probably aware that the account could be traced back to him) he was so blinded by hatred that he threw all caution to the winds.

People say that it is sad that a lost cricket game invokes such pathetic and diabolic reactions from a large number of people, many of whom are educated youngsters. People say that these people are suffering from mental illness and need medical attention. They also say that in some cases it is also due to the atmosphere of intolerance prevalent in the country now that is instrumental in misguiding these people and poisoning their minds.
