People are talking about the freebies and discounts some companies are offering to induce people to get vaccinated. People say that this is good social service as well marketing gimmick by these companies.

People say that the companies are creating awareness as well as ensuring that they get customers who have been jabbed. This, they say, is good social service and will keep their outlets safe too.

People say that many people are hesitant to get jabbed either due to wrong notions about vaccines or due to the misinformation being spread by some in the social media.

Although people are not sure whether such vaccine hesitancy can be overcome by such 'buy one, get one' offers on burgers and discounts on insurance policies and in restaurants, among other things, they are of the opinion that it will create awareness and those who are hesitating might take a relook.

People say that earlier too, the cab hailing service Uber had offered free rides to those going to vaccination centres.

People say that getting vaccinated is the best way to stay safe and those who are hesitating should think of the welfare of their families and get jabbed.

They say that since the companies are prodding them to get vaccinated by offering freebies and discounts, they should take up these offers too.
