People are talking about Kangana Ranaut and the way she acted irresponsibly to force Twitter to permanently suspend her account. People are of the opinion it is good riddance to bad rubbish. People say that while there is no harm in taking a particular political line, it is obviously unsocial, even criminal (and an FIR has already been filed against her in West Bengal), to use fake news and unverified content to do that.

People say that while Kangana has always been controversial and has made outrageous claims and made remarks on people that bordered on the abusive. They say that her account was previously temporarily suspended by Twitter. But this time, they say, she had crossed the limit and Twitter was right in banning her forever.

People say Kangana had no business claiming that "Hindu genocide" was taking place in West Bengal after the state witnessed sporadic post-poll violence. People say she is guilty of spreading rumours and fake news and inciting violence. People regret that despite being a National Award winning actor, she does not have the decency to verify facts before uploading them on social media.

People are of the opinion that Kangana's example will dissuade other celebrities from using social media to spread fake news.
