People are talking about Kangana Ranaut and the way she is being hounded by the Maharashtra government for first making a comment comparing Mumbai to Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir and then taking on Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut for suggesting that she is welcome to leave the city if she is not comfortable there. Kangana has a history of making controversial comments, having taken on the big-wigs in the film industry, and even journalists, in the past.

But  people say that loudmouth Kangana crossed the line this time by painting the entire city in vile colours even if she was troubled by any government policy. Social media has slammed her for trying to drill a hole in the very plate she has her food on. They say that since Mumbai has provided her name, fame and livelihood, she should not have taken out her ire against the government or the movie mafia on the city. Others say that she was just highlighting the Shiv Sena's intolerance to criticism and its attempts to subjugate dissenters by comparing the city to PoK.

But almost everyone is agreed that the government carried out vendetta politics by ordering the demolition of her office. They say that even the Mumbai High Court has blasted the government for the “undue haste” shown in carrying out the task. People are of the opinion that Kangana should have been given reasonable time to reply to the notice, especially when it was well known that she was not in the city.

People are also saying that since Kangana is close to the BJP and since currently there is no love lost between the Shiv Sena and the BJP, the Sena is targeting Kangana to settle political scores, which they say is not right. Kangana has said that she will expose Uddhav Thackeray and Karan Johar. Hence, people say, this fracas is going to turn uglier. They are saying that the BJP has already proved it will support Kangana by providing her with Y-plus level of security.
