Covering a lot of ground from deep cover and then diving so as not to miss the descent of the ball, Kohli came up with a blinder of a one-handed catch that would give an inferiority complex to many other good fielders.

People say that the Indian captain has been raising the bar in everything and his fielding, be it close catching or deep in the field, has been top-notch of late. They say it has been possible only because he is a fitness freak and is the fittest player in the Indian team, if not the world. People say that unless one is supremely fit and has the confidence about one's body that only fitness can bring, one would never attempt something that Kohli did.

People point out to the fact that his (and India's) fitness coach Shankar Basu had recently revealed that Kohli has not had a single "cheat" meal in two years. People say that with that kind of dedication, it is not surprising that the Indian captain is a bundle of energy on the field, always pumped up and always egging his players on.

People are of the opinion that being fit does not only make you a better player but it also allows you to be on the top of your game for a longer period of time. They say that Kohli's amazing fitness complements his natural talent and he is going to serve Indian cricket for a long time.
