Rahul Gandhi is getting carried away. After having said a lot of things about demonetization and having supposedly assumed the mantle of the main opposition leader (though one is sure a certain Mamata Banerjee will dispute that vehemently, and even Arvind Kejriwal will contest that), Rahul Gandhi is now full of self-importance.

A few days back, he said that if he speaks, there will be earthquake in Parliament. The people of India were ‘terrified’ and were amply relieved when he eventually did not.

Now, he says Narendra Modi is “terrified” of him as he has proof of Modi’s involvement in some corrupt deal or deals. He has said that he was not allowed to speak in parliament because of that. People are asking what is so special about the house and why Rahul can’t tell them what he has against Modi in a press conference. Or is it that he barges into press conferences only to tear off ordinances?

The people are talking about how Rahul Gandhi has made it a habit of saying things which have no meaning or hinting about things he never eventually talks about or throwing charges which he himself knows he cannot prove.

People are wondering how long will he carry on like this. They are also saying that he is an empty vessel, as those are the kinds that make the loudest noise.
